We are a church family that is growing in our love for God and for one another (Matthew 22). We are a church family that welcomes guests and loves on people who the Lord brings our way. We are a church family who is also passionate for the Great Commission (Matthew 28, Ephesians 4, Acts 1-2), which is to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Teaching people to obey all that Jesus has commanded us, under the power of His Spirit. We hold to the inspired, inerrant, authoritative, Scriptures, empowered by God’s Spirit. We hold that there is one God (in three distinct persons- Father, Son, & Spirit). We hold that all humans are born with a sin nature and that all humans are in need of saving. We firmly believe that salvation from this fatal condition comes only through trusting in and receiving Jesus as savior and lord. We believe that baptism is an initial step of obedience and is an outward sign of a beautiful inward change. We believe that God’s Spirit enters someone upon conversion (rebirth, being born again-John 3) and empowers the believer both to initial sanctification and eventual sanctification. We believe that God will complete that work in a believer and Jesus will return one day bodily to set up His kingdom here on earth.
